One of my younger brothers had a very similar instrument (purchased new for $13, IIRC) as his first guitar, and in the summer of 1963 we sanded off the paint and sealed it with Kiwi brown shoe polish. Regardless of its origin, it has certainly undergone an extreme makeover, including position dots, pickguard replacement, and, if it's a Silvertone 604, replacement of the bolted + glued pinless bridge which characterized both Harmony and Kay versions by the floating bridge + tailpiece. Harmony stamps frequently included model number and year Kay stamps were not so helpful.

Goluphi, with the aid of a bright flashlight and a small mirror, you might find stampings inside the body which could indicate the guitar's origin. It also could have left the Harmony factory as a H1057 - Singing Cowboys model, which featured a floating bridge + tailpiece like yours, or the H1070 - Wagon wheels model, or the H902 - Stella sundale all of these guitars seem to have had identical features except for the paint. A Silvertone 604 it may well be, but the peghead and body shapes make me think there's a good chance it came from Kay rather than Harmony.
